Light
In this project, I wanted to explore how light distorts the face, acting as makeup. In my planning process I chose to focus on pattern and texture. I began by creating digital art, then projected this onto my subjects, highlighting and fragmenting their features. In my contact sheet I circled the most successful photographs, contrasting light and dark tones and their effect on shape and form.
Reflection
In this project, i explored reflection using mirrors to symbolise to highlight Self IMAGE. I rESEARCHed PHOTOGRAPHERS WORKING WITH MIRRORS AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS , INTRIGUED BY Laura williams' concealment work.
